FSB releases 2017 G-SIB list (Nov 21) The Financial Stability Board (FSB) published the 2017 list of global systemically important banks (G-SIBs) using end-2016 data and an assessment methodology designed by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS). Read more here. The FSB, in consultation with the IAIS (International Association of Insurance Supervisors), decided not to publish a new list of G-SIIs (global systemically important insurers) for 2017. Policy measures will continue to apply to the firms listed in the 2016 G-SII communication.
